After a night’s sleep, I anxiously checked my inboxes (my kiasu-ness made me checked all emails even though I know which email they’re sending to) the next day. My eyes instantly scanned for words like YTL, concert or Andrea Bocelli but nope, no sign of any keywords mentioned. After that I received a SMS from them at 8:40am informing me about my winning again. I picked up the phone and called them to inform them that I still haven’t received any email from them regarding my ticket.
The girl over the phone told me that I can actually pick up the ticket without the email as they only need my IC for verification. (=_=)” Inside my mind, I went like “Say early lah! Like that I don’t have to be” gan cheong” spider the entire night, right?!”

But since this is a free event and they are giving it to me out of courtesy of course I need to talk to them nicely (right?). So she gave me the details on how I can collect the ticket but honestly the attitude of the girl over the phone is really bad. When I asked if she can send the email at that time so that I can read the details from it rather than recording it manually, she just told me off “The emails are sent out as mass mails at night and in case you still don’t get the email, I’m giving you the details now so that you can still go collect the ticket yourself right?”
But to be honest the way she spoke felt more like “Hey we’re giving you free tickets ok, don’t make me do extra work for you, can? (snob)” (Ok lor, whatever! *Eyes roll*)
Then later she also told me that my ticket is a live transmission ticket that means I will be admiring Andrea from the huge screen, not as I expected watching him live. I asked again telling her that I was informed that my ticket’s venue is the one at Botanical Garden then she told me correct it’s at Botanical but different part of BG only and this time the way she replied felt like “Wah give you free tickets still not enough, you really think you so lucky ah?”

This is me when I was told about the live "transmission" concert.
There are reasons why I believe it’s a live viewing. Firstly it’s because someone called me to inform me. Secondly, Tiffany messaged confirming with me again. My friend Harry also won the same ticket but he didn’t receive any phone call or message like I did. With all that, obviously I will think that way, right?
Even though my luck took a change, I’m just going to leave this episode behind me to enjoy this live (transmission) concert as this is a picnic concert. So I’m imagining it will be a night where I will listen to Andrea’s voice under a blanket of starry stars and in very good company. Then again according to Sandra, in Singapore the only stars you can see is on Singapore flag, so sad right? Anyway I’m still looking forward to a fun night!
