Weekend is over?

While the world is cheering for their favorite team during the World Cup final; I was nicely tugged in bed renewing my interest for Raymond Lam and figuring out all the physics metaphor he was telling me. I just finished watching a 24 episodes detective HK drama over the weekend. Crazy – I know. That just helps my Monday blue even more blue now. I know it’s really bad, so while in the middle of watching the episode I keep telling myself, “Ok, this need to stop when this episode end else my eye bag is going to be really bad tomorrow morning”. Then when I finished watching it, I will proceed to click to watch the next episode and the vicious cycle continues.

Despite that I also manage to enjoy a Jazz performance by the Peabody Institute with a friend, organized by the NUS. Although I must say that I didn’t quite enjoy the setting, stiff chair and cold air conditioning. Otherwise the experience can be better. After that we met with another friend for coffee until very late into the night, so my precious weekend is not all wasted to just being a bed potato.

I did some shopping to welcome and embrace the winter next month. The thought of enjoying winter with scenes from LOTR as my backdrop, I’m getting more and more excited. I can’t wait for this month to be over and start my big holiday and probably what excites me even more is that once my winter holiday is over, I won’t have a huge pile of emails waiting for me to clear. This is the moment I have been waiting and I really can’t wait for it to start this very second.
